With a team of 8 associates in the HR department, my role includes overseeing and leading the team to ensure that employee needs are met to exceptionally high standards. My current focus includes building brand and attracting talent through career events with local and international partnerships, supporting the leadership team with accurate analysis of key performance indicators to nurture effective relationships, and strengthening the leadership team through training and ensuring the Rosewood culture is cascaded and represented across the hotel.
Over the years I have learned that no two days are the same in the hospitality industry! The sheer diversity of the employees, the guests and partners, is unlike other industries and it is a pleasure to directly build these key relationships. Everyday I work with incredibly passionate individuals whose humility allows them to serve others first. With the changing times ahead, there are still so many opportunities that will come our way in hospitality, and with the people agenda high on the list of priorities, HR will play a key role in shaping the future talent landscape.
