Annette Allmark, People 1st

Annette has played an instrumental role in the development of the 18 new apprenticeship standards for the visitor economy industries, working with over 200 employers in their design. Her in-depth knowledge and experience has enabled her to support a number of leading businesses and stakeholders in preparing for the new standards and the levy

Sam Coulstock, Umbrella Training
Umbrella Training are an Elite Hospitality Apprenticeship provider for London and South East working with some of the leading employers in the sector.  We have been at the forefront of supporting employers with the new Apprenticeship Standards and preparing for the Apprenticeship Levy which comes into effect from April 2017.

Rhona Mennie, Springboard
Rhona Mennie is Business Relations Manager at The Springboard Charity working with a range of employers in the hotel and food service management sectors to assist in the delivery of their HR priorities. The focus is around the recruitment of team members through participation in various programmes and services offered by Springboard. Rhona has also had responsibility for marketing and the development of careers resources during her time with Springboard and was previously a commercial manager in the travel industry.

Vernon Hunte, BHA
Vernon Hunte is Government Affairs Director at the British Hospitality Association, responsible for the organisation’s political engagement and campaigns. His professional background covers over a decade working in Westminster and Whitehall. He is experienced in working with membership bodies, government and in consultancy on a range of policy areas. Vernon worked for over two years for the Rt Hon Keith Vaz MP, Chairman of the Home Affairs Committee, heading the Parliamentary office. He graduated from the London School of Economics in International Politics and History, and holds a post-graduate degree from Kings College London. He is the Vice-Chair of the CIPR Public Affairs Group.
