Join Our Committee

HR in hospitality Committee Member proposal!

We are always interested in having new members join our committee as membership changes. You need to be working in hospitality in a HR role or associated with the hospitality sector, we need to achieve a balance of skills/experience and interests of the committee, We are particularly keen to accept applications from HR professionals currently working in the Restaurant, Bars or Private Club sectors of industry. If you are interested in joining then please complete the 3 questions below, we will then arrange an informal chat over coffee to discuss your interest. You would then go onto our ‘talent pool’ shortlist for the next available place onto the committee as voted by the current members.

Your commitment to us would be:

  • To make every effort to attend Committee meetings. We rotate between breakfast and after work with some pre-event meetings also. We usually hold up to 6 committee meetings in the year.
  • To attend at least 50% of the events we run each year and offer support at the event
  • To support the Group with arranging at least one event per year with other committee members, this includes arranging venue, speaker and write up blog post event.
  • To participate in any strategy development meetings and sit on sub-focus groups
  • To promote and actively encourage new members and organisations to join the group
